Hwy. 63 upgrade meeting set for May 10

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northwest Region in Eau Claire announces a public information meeting to discuss proposed improvements to Hwy. 63 in the Town of Trenton.

HAGER CITY--The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northwest Region in Eau Claire announces a public information meeting to discuss proposed improvements to Hwy. 63 in the Town of Trenton.

The meeting is scheduled from 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, at Prairie View Elementary School, W7375 170th Ave., Hager City. The meeting will follow an open house format with a brief project overview presentation at 7 p.m.

The proposed project includes improvements to Hwy. 63 and replacing the bridge at the crossing of the BNSF Railway. The project is tentatively scheduled for 2013.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. Maps showing the proposed improvement alternatives will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.

Citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Maves at least three working days prior to the meeting.
