Three vehicle accident on Hwys. 10 and 63 just outside of Ellsworth

This is the accident scene at just after 5 p.m. on Highways 10 and 63 just outside of Ellsworth. Three vehicles were involved, the Chrysler Concorde in the foreground and the SUV in the background rolled over on its top.

Afternoon traffic was backed up on Highways 10 and 63 just outside of Ellsworth Thursday because of a three-vehicle, roll-over accident right next to the Crossroads Community Church.

The accident was reported at 5:08 p.m. Kathleen Blodgett, 49 of Maiden Rock was taken to Red Wing Hospital with unknown injuries. The two other drivers involved in the accident were Cody Wieser, 18, also of Maiden Rock and Heidi Lindquist of Hammond, 41 of Hammond

On scene were personnel from Ellsworth Ambulance and Fire, the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, Ellsworth Police and the Wisconsin State Patrol.

The accident is still under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol. Check back with the Pierce County Herald website for more information.
