NEW YORK CITY - The Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings kept adding bodies for the offense in the NFL draft.
The Packers took Hawaii running back Alex Green in the third round. He's six feet tall and 220 pounds, rushing last season for almost 1,200 yards and offering a big threat catching passes out of the backfield. The Packer also selected Kentucky wide receiver Randall Cobb in the second round.
Green Bay had taken Mississippi State offensive tackle Derek Sherrod in Thursday's first round.
The second and third rounds were picked Friday. Minnesota had just one pick yesterday. The Vikings traded away a third round pick to New England to obtain Randy Moss last year.
The Vikes' chose Notre Dame tight end Kyle Rudolph with the No. 43 pick.
