NCAA D-3 softball regional underway, UWRF plays this evening
The Eau Claire Regional is underway in the NCAA Division-Three softball tournament. The regional is being played at Gelein Field in Carson Park.
EAU CLAIRE - The Eau Claire Regional is underway in the NCAA Division-Three softball tournament. The regional is being played at Gelein Field in Carson Park.
Luther College of Iowa and Saint Scholastica of Duluth squared off in Game-One late this morning with Luther winning 3-0. UW-La Crosse played North Central of Illinois this afternoon and won 2-1. Host UW-Eau Claire will face Saint Thomas of Saint Paul later this afternoon and tonight, Ripon College winds up the first round against UW-River Falls.
Also, UW-Whitewater is playing in a Division-Three regional at Pella, Iowa. The Warhawks are scheduled to take on Coe College this afternoon. There are eight regionals in the tournament, and they all have double-elimination formats that run into the weekend.
