The Elmwood High School baseball team snapped a two-game losing streak with 7-0 shutout of Colfax Thursday, May 12.
COLFAX - The Elmwood High School baseball team snapped a two-game losing streak with 7-0 shutout of Colfax Thursday.
Elmwood jumped ahead by six runs after the first three innings, helped by nine hits four errors by the Vikings, 2-10 overall.
The Raiders' Tanner Hoyt and Eli Fredrickson each had two hits and Logan Wolf hit an RBI-double. Hoyt was the winning pitcher tossing a five-hitter with four strikeouts. Fredrickson scored twice.
EHS improves to to 6-8 overall and 4-7 in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference. They host Glenwood City Monday.
