MANKATO, Minn. -- The Minnesota State-Mankato softball team defeated Winona State 6-2 Sunday afternoon to win the NCAA Division II Central Region 2 championship.
The Mavericks advanced to the best-of-three Super Regional against Augustana College in Sioux Falls starting Friday.
