MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Bucks will be in tonight’s NBA Draft Lottery for the fifth time in seven years. The Bucks currently have the 10th pick in the June draft.

In the lottery, they could either rise to one of the top three spots or they could fall as low as 13th. Each lottery team has different odds of winning the top pick, according to how they finished in the regular season. Milwaukee only has a one-point-one-percent chance of winning the Number-One pick – and they have just a four-percent chance of rising to the top-three. General manager John Hammond will be on stage during the lottery telecast, which begins around 7:30 tonight on ESPN. Minnesota, the team with the worst record, has a 25-percent chance of getting the top pick. Arizona power forward Derrick Williams and Connecticut guard Kemba Walker are among the possibilities at Number-One. The Bucks last won the lottery in 2005, when they moved up from the sixth spot and took seven-foot center Andrew Bogut. The last time the worst team won the lottery was in 2004, when Orlando took Dwight Howard.

Former Marquette University guard Doc Rivers has signed a five-year contract extension as the head coach of the Boston Celtics. The deal was made yesterday, and the extension is worth around $35-million dollars. The 49-year-old Rivers has coached the Celtics for seven seasons. They went 56-26 in the regular campaign, before losing to Miami in five games in the second round of the playoffs. Rivers has one NBA championship under his coaching belt. He’s 336-and-238 with the Celtics.

The NFL owners’ lockout will continue until next month and maybe beyond. That’s after a federal appeals’ court agreed yesterday to keep the lockout in place until a hearing can be held June third. Judges in Saint Louis will hear arguments that day on the league’s appeal of Federal Judge Susan Nelson’s ruling from late April, which called the lockout illegal. In the meantime, players from some teams are holding workouts on their own. But only a couple of Packers have been in Green Bay during the lockout. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who spends his off-seasons in California, tells a Sacramento radio station he has not worked out with any of his teammates. He said it’s not easy to get his receivers together, since their families are spread out across the country. Rodgers said he would try to arrange something, but it would be difficult. And in the meantime, Rodgers says he’s optimistic that something will break through in the next few weeks. He says there’s too much money involved not to have a season.

University of Wisconsin senior Jennifer Krueger has been named the Big Ten Conference softball co-player-of-the-week. She shares the honor with Amanda Chidester of Michigan. Krueger ended her career by becoming the Badgers’ all-time season hits leader with 64. She batted .714 in her final two games against Ohio State with three RBI’s and three runs scored. Krueger also broke Wisconsin’s season record for stolen bases with 43, as the Badgers completed their first 30-win campaign since 2005.
