Osceola wins MBC golf title, Ellsworth finishes 7th, PHS 8th

From start to finish the Osceola High School golf team was perfect in Middle Border Conference play and the Chieftains capped it off by winning the MBC meet title Tuesday at the New Richmond Golf Course Tuesday.

NEW RICHMOND - From start to finish the Osceola High School golf team was perfect in Middle Border Conference play and the Chieftains capped it off by winning the MBC meet title Tuesday at the New Richmond Golf Course Tuesday.

Osceola won the tournament with a 330. The Chieftains placed first at every conference meet this season and finished with a perfect 80 points.

Ellsworth came in seventh at the Middle Border Conference meet by firing a 393. Prescott had its best 18-hole score of the season at 393 but it still put the Cardinals in eighth place.

Seventh and eighth is the way EHS and PHS finished in the overall league standings as well.

Joe Henning led the Panthers with a 90. Chrystian Kulow (99) also cracked 100. Tyler Samuel (100) and Austin Manore (104) also contributed to the Panthers' team score.
