Blugolds name Green new head hoops' coach
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has named University of Northern Iowa men's basketball assistant coach Kyle Green has their new head men's basketball coach.
EAU CLAIRE - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has named University of Northern Iowa men's basketball assistant coach Kyle Green has their new head men's basketball coach.
Green will turn 40 next month. He is a Hamline University graduate and has served as an assistant coach at Hamline, Southwest (Minn.)State, and Augustana (S.D.) prior to his assistant coaching duties at Northern Iowa.
Green replaces long-time UWEC head coach Terry Gibbons who stepped down last month.
