GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers’ Hall-of-Fame would have three floors instead of one, under the latest proposal to revamp Lambeau Field.

Team vice president Jason Wied told the Green Bay-and-Brown County stadium board that the Hall-of-Fame is one of the most popular in the country. And they’d like to expand it from 20,000 square feet to about 35-thousand. To accommodate it, the team is talking about moving the Packer Pro Shop on the main floor, and Curly’s Pub on the second floor to the stadium’s east parking lot.

It’s one of several possible improvements being discussed by Packers’ officials recently. Others include up to eight-thousand new premium seats above the main bowl in the south end zone, and new elevators and a standing room viewing deck above the north end zone.

The Packers are committed to a new sound system for this fall, and new video boards for 2012. The team is paying for the improvements.
