Letter: Facts do matter

TO THE EDITOR: This is in response to George Grajkowski. Even Mark Twain would agree that facts matter there, George.

I couldn’t wait to see which Republican would object to facts between Democratic administrations versus Republican ones, so a simple “you lie” is the best response I could get from George. You see there in the world of the “internets” as George W. would say there are these things called statistics and facts that you can read, your response is maybe this is part of that liberal media, right?

Anyone with common sense without looking at the facts can see that when your side is in control things are a bit tough, aren’t they? And it takes my side awhile to clean up your side’s mess. So instead of saying no to everything, maybe your side should come to the table with more than tax cuts for oil and millionaires.

I am glad you read my facts. Now if the Republicans don’t get their way and cut education maybe more kids will be able to read and understand history and the facts instead of the garbage you see and hear from Fox “News.” Try logging on to www.truthfact.org. Enjoy your Mark Twain, George.
