Warriors to play in Division II title game
Minnesota Sports-- The Winona State baseball team will be playing for the NCAA Division II national title tomorrow morning. The Warriors remained unbeaten in the D-II World Series with a 7-5 win over Southern Connecticut last night.
(Cary, NC) -- The Winona State baseball team will be playing for the NCAA Division II national title tomorrow morning. The Warriors remained unbeaten in the D-II World Series with a 7-5 win over Southern Connecticut last night.
WSU fell behind 4-0 after one inning, but rallied to tie the game at 4-4 in the second. Southern Connecticut reclaimed the lead 5-4 with a run in the third, but the Warriors tallied three in the fifth to help seal the win.
Winona State will play West Florida tomorrow at 11 a.m. in a single championship game.
