Milwaukee police shot-and-wounded a suspect for the third time in a week
Wisconsin News-- For the third time in a week, a Milwaukee police officer shot-and-wounded a suspect late last night.
MILWAUKEE - For the third time in a week, a Milwaukee police officer shot-and-wounded a suspect late last night.
Police said they were called to a house to break up a domestic disturbance – and when the suspect lunged at the officer with a knife, the officer fired his weapon. It happened just after 9:30 in a north side neighborhood. The suspect was hospitalized in critical condition at last word. The 36-year-old officer was not hurt. He’s an 11-year veteran of the Milwaukee police force.
The officer has been put on administrative desk duty while the shooting is being investigated.
