State prep baseball tournament begins Tuesday
Wisconsin Sports-- At least three new champions will be crowned at the state high school spring baseball tournament that begins this morning near Appleton at Fox Cities Stadium.
GRAND CHUTE - At least three new champions will be crowned at the state high school spring baseball tournament that begins this morning near Appleton at Fox Cities Stadium.
Burlington Catholic Central is the only returning champ in the field, after they won the Division-Four crown a year ago.
Today is devoted exclusively to Division-One play. Verona and Hartford will open the divisional quarter-finals at eight this morning at Fox Cities Stadium. Neenah will then take on Kenosha Bradford. This afternoon, Wausau West will face Appleton North. And Reedsburg will go against Eau Claire North.
The winners of those four games will square off tonight in the Division-One semi-finals. Semi-finals will be played tomorrow in Divisions Two, Three, and Four. Championship contests in all four divisions are set for Thursday.
