Go and Do (June 15)
The Carpenter Nature Center northwest of Prescott will hold their pre-school Story Times on Friday, June 17, from 10-11 a.m. Topic will be frogs, and attendees will meet live frogs and search for tadpoles. RSVP in advance to 651-437-4359.
The Kinnickinnic State Park’s “Get Outdoors…and Play” day will be held on Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the park. Many fun and educational games and activities will be held. State park admission required for all vehicles. For more information, call 715-425-1129.
On Sunday, June 19, from 2–3 p.m., “Rain to Rivers” movie will be shown at the Great River Road Visitor and Learning Center in Prescott. Come and learn how Wisconsin communities, neighborhoods and individuals are using simple and creative ways to protect their drinking water supplies, from rain gardens, pervious pavers, rain barrels and more.
