Minnesota Sports-- Drew Butera singled in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Twins edged the Padres 5-4.
Minneapolis, MN -- Drew Butera singled in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Twins edged the Padres 5-4.
Alexi Casilla smacked a solo homer for the Twins, who swept the three-game interleague series and have won seven straight overall. Alex Burnett tossed a scoreless ninth to earn his second win of the season.
The Twins are off today. They'll begin a three-game series against the defending World Champion Giants in San Francisco on Tuesday.
