ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission granted AWA Goodhue Wind a permit Thursday to build a 78 megawatt, 50-turbine wind farm in Goodhue County.
In one of the agency's final actions before today's state government shutdown, the board met in St. Paul to consider the permit. The hearing lasted from 9:45 a.m. to nearly 5:30 p.m. with breaks.
Commissioners approved the permit, but made several changes.
