Wisconsin Sports-- This has never happened before. Three Milwaukee Brewers will be starting in an All-Star game.
MILWAUKEE - This has never happened before. Three Milwaukee Brewers will be starting in an All-Star game.
Outfielder Ryan Braun, first baseman Prince Fielder and second baseman Rickie Weeks were all named to the National League squad yesterday. Braun led all National League players in votes with nearly six million. The All Star game will be played July 12 in Phoenix. This is the sixth straight season the Brewers have had at least three players on the All-Star team.
Wisconsin golfer Dan Forsman stayed near the top all weekend, but fell short of winning the Montreal Championship. Forsman shot a four under par 68 Sunday to finish the 54-hole event at 16 under par 200, good for a tie for fourth. He wound up the tournament five shots behind winner John Cook.
