Weeks' homer bails out Brewers

DENVER - A two-run homer by Rickie Weeks in the ninth gave the Milwaukee Brewers an 8-7 win at Colorado after they had blown a seventh inning lead.

It's was home run number-18 for Weeks. Francisco Rodriguez made his first appearance as a Brewer and picked up the win. Rockies catcher Chris Iannetta and manager Jim Tracy were thrown out of the game while arguing a play at the plate.

Brewers All-Star outfielder Ryan Braun had to leave the game with an injury that might keep him out for today as well.

All the action was delayed when weather put off the opening pitcher in Denver for 49 minutes.
