Celebrate the Rivers
On Friday, July 22, from 3–9:30 p.m., Celebrate the Rivers at Mercord Mill Park in downtown Prescott, just off Orange Street. The 17-day “Paddle” down the St. Croix River will celebrate its grand finale. At 3 p.m., watch the mid-river National Park Service “convergence” ceremony. At 4 p.m., there will be a We-no-nah canoe raffle drawing. At 4:30 p.m., Mike Hunter, mayor of Prescott, will present a key to the city. There will be food and entertainment from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Music will be provided by Summer Time Barbershop Quartet, Banjo Deb and Tom (River Boat Music) and Junction Mill (Americana Music). The motored boat flotilla will be at 8:30 p.m.

Cancer Society Run Walk

The American Cancer Society Run Walk of Pierce County in Ellsworth will be held on Saturday, July 23, with registration at 8 a.m. and the walk beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Pierce County Fairgrounds.

Bloodmobile

“Make Noise at Your Library”

“Make Noise at Your Library” will be presented at the Prescott Public Library on Wednesday, July 27, at 6:30 p.m. Celebrate rhythm and music, create and play instruments from around the world. This event is free and open to the public. Call 715-262-5555 for more information.
