GREEN BAY - The head of the state’s top women’s college basketball program has been given a contract extension with a sizable raise. UW-Green Bay coach Matt Bollant has signed an extension through March of 2016 that pays him $150,000 a year. Bollant was offered an interview by the Wisconsin Badgers after Lisa Stone was fired – but the Badgers eventually hired Bobbie Kelsey from Stanford. Bollant said he was happy for the interest, but he feels Green Bay is home. He said he has worked harder than ever on recruiting this summer. Bollant has spent four years in Green Bay, with an overall record of 117-17.
