FENCE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
Pierce County is seeking a fence installation contractor to provide all labor and materials required to install a 5,780 ft. barbless wire fence along a snowmobile trail located in the Town of Maiden Rock (W), Pierce County, Wisconsin. Bids must be received by mail, or hand delivered, to Scott Schoepp, Nugget Lake County Park, N4351 Co. Rd. HH, Plum City, WI by no later than 4:00 p.m. on August 19, 2011. Bids must be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “FENCE BID”. The bids will be opened at 4:05 pm on that day. Bids will be reviewed and awarded at the Pierce County Parks Committee Meeting on August 29, 2011. Pierce County reserves the right, in its sound discretion, to accept or reject any or all bids provided in response to the Bid Notice and Specifications for this project, regardless of conformity with the specifications, as well as to waive any errors and omissions as well as any technical failure of any bid to be fully responsive. Such discretion shall be exercised in the best interest of Pierce County and its taxpayers. Pierce County also reserves the right to determine who, among the several consultants, constitutes the lowest, responsible party for the project in question. Bid price shall remain in effect for 90 days. Pierce County reserves the right to reduce its agreement with the successful party to a written contract and until such a time as said contract is executed by and between the parties, Pierce County shall not be bound to the terms of the bid in question.
