Vikings will hold training camp in Mankato

-- It's good news for Mankato as the NFL lockout ends. The Minnesota Vikings will hold their training camp in that south-central Minnesota community for the 46th consecutive year -- the second-longest stretch in the NFL.

MANKATO - It's good news for Mankato as the NFL lockout ends. The Minnesota Vikings will hold their training camp in that south-central Minnesota community for the 46th consecutive year -- the second-longest stretch in the NFL.

Players will report to Minnesota State-Mankato on Sunday. Mankato Mayor Eric Anderson says hosting the Vikings training camp is an integral part of that community.

Vikings coach Leslie Frazier says he is hoping that fans break the all-time attendance record for training camp in Mankato.
