Comedian to perform Aug. 19 in Stockholm

Folk humourist Mary Mack will be performing 7 p.m., Aug. 19 at the WideSpot Performing Arts Center in Stockholm.
Mack has been featured on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show, XM’s National Lampoon’s Comedy Network and Minnesota’s Polka Spotlight. After winning the 2005 California’s Funniest Female Contest, she went on to appear in the Vancouver Comedy Fest (2007), HBO’s Andy Kaufman Awards (2007) and Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival (2009). She made her national TV debut on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham and NBC’s Last Comic Standings.
Mack, who grew up in the Midwest, now splits her time between Los Angeles and Minnesota. Her background, which includes being a former music teacher and polka bandleader have made her popular with a wide array of people. She has recorded three albums with the latest being “Pinch Finger Girl: A Tragedomedy”, recorded in Madison in 2009.
