Minnesota Sports-- The Minnesota Vikings have reportedly agreed to terms on a contract with wide receiver Michael Jenkins.
Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Vikings have reportedly agreed to terms on a contract with wide receiver Michael Jenkins.
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune, which cites a league source, reported the news Saturday night.
The Falcons' first-round pick (29th overall) in 2004, Jenkins has spent his entire career in Atlanta.
Jenkins had 41 catches for 505 yards and two touchdowns in 11 games last year. He missed the first five contests of the 2010 season because of a shoulder injury.
The 29-year-old caught 276 passes for 3,512 yards and 20 touchdowns in 103 career games with the Falcons.
Jenkins' fate in Atlanta was essentially sealed when the Falcons took wide receiver Julio Jones with the sixth overall pick in this year's draft.
