The Ellsworth Public Library will wrap up its summer entertainment on Wednesday, Aug. 3, at 1 p.m. with “The Wonderful World of Woody.” Woody performs fire juggling, magic, rockin’ music and lots more! At the library’s parking lot. If the weather’s questionable, call for an update at 715-273-3209.

Ellsworth Public Library will host Lori Zierl from the UW-Extension office on Thursday, Aug. 4, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Freezing fruits and vegetables can be an easy way to enjoy the bounty of the garden and orchard all year. Stop in or call at 715-273-3209 to sign up. There is no charge.

Prescott Public Library’s Summer Reading Grand Finale on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 10:30 a.m. to noon will feature characters from “Star Wars” as special guests. Kinnickinnic Historical Association will hold its annual Ice Cream Social at the Kinnickinnic Church on Sunday, Aug. 7, from 2-6 p.m. The church is located east of Hwy. 65 on CTH J between River Falls and Roberts. Musical interludes will take place during the social.
