ST. LOUIS - Milwaukee Brewer left-hander Chris Narveson cut himself with a pair of scissors whilehe was trying to fix the laces on his glove, and the injury required eight stitches.
The injury means Narveson will miss his next scheduled start Friday against the Pirates at Miller Park. Manager Ron
Roenicke says he'll talk to general manager Doug Melvin today to
figure out how to handle it. Harveson says he didn't cut the part of
his thumb he uses to grip the ball, so he doesn't think the gash will
keep him out of action for long.
