(Minneapolis, MN) -- The University of Minnesota football team continues with its first week of fall camp. Safety Kim Royston of St. Paul's Cretin-Derham Hall is taking advantage of a rare sixth year of eligibility. He missed all of last year with a severe compound fracture of his leg.
The NCAA allowed him one more season to play and he's taking advantage. Royston spent two seasons playing at Wisconsin, had to sit out a year because of the transfer, played for one season in Minnesota, then missed last year. He says he's savoring every moment of fall camp and can't wait to play in a game.
