@t:After all Dawn Viegut of Ellsworth has endured with her health, it’s understandable if she uses the phrase “have a heart” in exasperation these days.

Fortunately, the number of occasions for Viegut to have need for the expression is decreasing. She said Wednesday she’s feeling better, recovering from a series of health issues, not the least of which were three heart attacks.

“United Hospital has been like a second home to me,” she said of the St. Paul facility.

The Prescott native said she’s also experienced “quite a few” blood transfusions. Formerly a blood donor herself, she has special appreciation for the donors who have attended the American Red Cross Bloodmobile, returning to Ellsworth Monday, Aug. 29, from noon to 6 p.m. at Zion Covenant Church.
