Vikings sign defensive end White

-- The Minnesota Vikings signed defensive end Stylez G. White on Monday.

Eden Prairie, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Vikings signed defensive end Stylez G. White on Monday.

In four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, White, 32, totaled 137 tackles and 24 sacks while appearing in all but one game during that time.

Born Greg White, the lineman changed his name in 2008, choosing "Stylez" based on a character from the well-known 1985 Michael J. Fox movie "Teen Wolf."

Also on Monday, the Vikings placed offensive lineman Scott Kooistra on injured reserve.
