(St. Paul, MN) -- Questions relating to state government shutdown figure prominently in this year's State Fair Poll by the Minnesota House of Representatives, and anyone stopping by their booth can fill out the survey.
Barry LaGrave, director of House Public Information Services, says the first question is whether funding should stay in place for state programs if the governor and legislators can't agree on a budget.
There's also a question about whether the Minnesota Constitution should be changed to allow the legislature to call itself into special session. Currently only the governor can do that. Also on the House State Fair Poll: questions about expanding the sales tax to include clothing -- whether gambling should be expanded -- and whether cell phone use should be prohibited while driving.
