Lake City girls tennis shuts out EHS 7-0
Ellsworth High School's girls tennis team was again swept in a dual meet, losing to Lake City 7-0.
LAKE CITY - Ellsworth High School's girls tennis team was again swept in a dual meet, losing to Lake City 7-0.
One match went to three sets, at No. 2 doubles where EHS's Alea Wilbur and Katie Kurrelmeyer won the first set 6-2 but lost the next two sets to the Tigers' Braeden McElhury and Katie Coyle 3-6, 0-6.
Ellsworth's Jordan Olson played a close match at No. 2 singles against LC's Katie Wallreich, losing 4-6, 2-6. Teammate Sarah Langer won three games at No. 3 singles.
The Panthers are at Osceola Thursday.
