MINNEAPOLIS - Lindsay Whalen poured in 21 points on 10-of-12 shooting to guide Minnesota to a 73-56 rout of Washington last night at the Target Center. The former University of Minnesota all-star and Hutchinson native also dished out five assists.
Jessica Adair added 10 points for the Lynx, who have won six in a row and already have secured the top seed for the Western Conference playoffs.
The Lynx are back in action Friday night when they host the New York Liberty on the front end of a home-and-home series.
