Adelman meets with Timberwolves brass again
Minnesota Sports-- Rick Adelman met with Wolves owner Glen Taylor yesterday to discuss the possibility of filling the head coaching vacancy.
MINNEAPOLIS -- Rick Adelman met with Wolves owner Glen Taylor yesterday to discuss the possibility of filling the head coaching vacancy.
It was the second meeting between the 65-year-old Adelman and the club, the first coming last week when he interviewed with David Kahn, Rob Moor, and other members of the organization.
Adelman has been in coaching since 1988, spending time with the Portland Trail Blazers, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, and most recently the Houston Rockets.

NBA labor talks will resume today. ESPN.com reports representatives for the league and union will meet in New York. It will be the first labor talks since August 1st. Both sides followed that session by filing unfair labor practice complaints with the National Labor Relations Board. The league and union are at odds over the owners' desire to cut salaries and implement a hard salary-cap. The NBA locked out the players on July 1st after the previous collective bargaining agreement expired.
