EDEN PRAIRIE -- The Minnesota Vikings finished their practice week yesterday and will host the Houston Texans tomorrow in the final preseason game of the season for both teams.

Most of the starters for both teams will not play tomorrow, although a small few could get a few snaps. Linebacker Chad Greenway will probably not play, but he says the team's defense is starting to take on the look of a good defense. He says when he watches film of the team's training camp workouts he is seeing improvement every day. Minnesota opens the regular season at San Diego on September 11th.

Among numerous moves Tuesday, the Houston Texans signed veteran wide receiver Bryant Johnson. Johnson spent the last two seasons with Detroit, and caught 18 passes for 210 yards in 14 games in 2010. The Texans also signed tackle Andrew Gardner, and placed four players on the reserve/injured list: receivers Devard Darling and Lestar Jean, and guards Shelley Smith and Kasey Studdard. The Texans play in Minneapolis against the Vikings tomorrow night.

They will contribute $500,000 to the 9-11 Museum & Memorial in Lower Manhattan, and $250,000 each to the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania and the Pentagon Memorial Fund in Washington, DC. The first Sunday of the NFL season marks the 10th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks. The NFL will also donate proceeds of auctioned items from games played that day to charity.
