Eden Prairie, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Vikings finalized their roster on Saturday, releasing four veterans and a slew of others.
Tight end Jeff Dugan, linebacker Heath Farwell, offensive lineman Ryan Cook, and defensive end Stylez G. White were all let go.
Dugan appeared in 64 games with the Vikings the previous five years, though he never caught more than eight passes in a season. Farwell and Cook had each been with Minnesota for five seasons as well, while White spent the first four years of his career in Tampa Bay.
Offensive lineman Chris DeGeare, the Vikings' fifth-round pick in the 2010 draft, and running back Caleb King were among the non-veterans who were waived. Joining them on the chopping block were wide receivers Emmanuel Arceneaux, Stephen Burton, Juaquin Iglesias and Jaymar Johnson, defensive ends David Akinniyi and Cedric McKinley, fullbacks Matt Asiata and Ryan D'Imperio, defensive backs Tony Carter, Ryan Hill, Cord Parks and Devon Torrence, running backs Tristan Davis and Alexander Robinson, linebackers David Herron and Ross Homan and offensive linemen Bryon Isom and Thomas Welch.
