MINNEAPOLIS -- Jake Peavy tossed six-and-a-third innings of shutout ball, fanning nine, as the White Sox dumped the Twins, 3-0 last night at Target Field.

Alex Rios launched a solo shot for Chicago, which has taken the first three of the four-game set. The Twins have scored just one run in the 27 innings of the series so far. Liam Hendriks threw seven innings of three-run ball and was the tough-luck loser in his major-league debut.

The Twins have lost five straight and are in last place in the American League Central Division. Minnesota started three rookies who all made major league debuts. That is the most in a game since San Diego had four in 1989. The two teams close out their series tonight with a 7:10 p.m. game.
