(Minneapolis, MN) -- University of Minnesota football coach Jerry Kill was released from the hospital yesterday and was at the team's practice in the afternoon. And, all indications are that he will be in attendance at tomorrow's University of Minnesota football game at TCF Stadium.

Offensive coordinator Matt Limegrover says he fully expects Kill to be with the team on Saturday when it hosts Miami of Ohio. Linebacker Mike Rallis of Edina says he is eager to see his head coach again on the sidelines in a game, although it isn't clear whether Kill will be on the sidelines, in the press box, or some other location tomorrow during the game tomorrow. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.

Both the Golden Gophers and the Miami Redhawks are in search of their first win of the season. Minnesota had a stunning setback last week when New Mexico State won 28-21 at TCF Bank Stadium. The 0-2 Gophers lost to USC the week before. Miami was idle last weekend and lost to nationally-ranked Missouri in week one 17-6. Miami is under the direction of new coach Don Treadwell, a graduate of Miami. He most recently was offensive coordinator at Michigan State, so the Gopher coaches have been studying film from both Miami and Michigan State to try to find some tendancies and other helpful things.
