CHICAGO - Russell Wilson threw an interception in the third quarter. That’s it. The near-perfect University of Wisconsin football team rolled to more than 600 total yards on offense in a 49-7 blowout of Northern Illinois at Soldier's Field.

The interception was Wisconsin’s first turnover of the season, but Wilson did plenty right. He passed for 347 yards and three touchdowns as the Badgers ran their record to 3-0. Montee Ball had 91 yards rushing and two touchdowns and James White got into the end zone once while rushing for 100 yards. Nick Toon caught two touchdowns passes from Wilson to put the Badgers ahead to stay. Ball has scored in nine straight games for Wisconsin.

The win was the 31st straight for Bucky in non-conference games and first win in Soldier's Field since 1942.
