EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Kevin Williams was back at team headquarters yesterday after finally serving a two-game suspension which was initially handed out two years ago.
He had to train on his own and did not get paid while he was out. At the same time, he was rehabbing a sore foot. Williams says he is not 100-percent with the foot, but will definitely play on Sunday against Detroit. He says it was frustrating to watch the Vikes' lose their first two games by blowing big leads.
Kickoff on Sunday is noon at the Metrodome.

The Detroit Lions are setting their sights on their next opponent, the conference rival Minnesota Vikings. Detroit will return to the practice field in Allen Park tomorrow morning after Sunday's 48-3 win over Kansas City, the largest regular season margin of victory in team history. Tight end Brandon Pettigrew, with a shoulder injury and receiver Maurice Stovall, who has a hand injury, are both questionable for this weekend's game. The 2-0 Lions will line up against the 0-2 Vikings on Sunday afternoon in Minnesota.
