Clair Severson delivers a crop of caring to the Ellsworth Senior Citizens Center most every week during the harvest season.
A good share of the abundance from Severson’s garden not only goes to grateful center staffers and members, but to his church (Our Savior’s Lutheran) and the Pierce County Food Pantry as well. His idea is to help people in need.
“My intention is to give the produce to those who don’t have access to it otherwise or can’t afford to buy it (in stores),” he said Wednesday.
