B-W stays unbeaten in MBC, downs Ellsworth 3-0

BALDWIN - The Ellsworth High School volleyball team pushed Baldwin-Woodville, but it wasn’t a strong enough push in a 28-26, 25-20, 25-23 loss in Baldwin.

Senior Jessy Tingelhoff led the Panthers (13-11, 2-1 Middle Border) with 13 assists and added seven kills.

Ellsworth senior Abbey Ristow had a team-high 15 kills and sophomore Chelsy Strom had a team-high 19 digs. Sophomore Tacia Kuhl added 15 digs.

The win keeps B-W on top of the Middle Border Conference standings with a 4-0 record despite being at .500 for the season.

The Panthers face New Richmond Tuesday in New Richmond.
