Packers searching for balance for wide receivers

GREEN BAY - It appears that the Green Bay Packers have found a balance in getting the ball to their top two receivers.
Greg Jennings has 18 catches after three games, and tight end Jermichael Finley has 15. A year ago, Finley had 21 receptions after four contests to just 12 for Jennings – and until Finley was lost for the season in Week-Five with a knee injury, there were some rumblings that Jennings was not being used enough. The Packers have so many good receivers that there have been rumblings already about a lack of playing time by some of them – especially James Jones, who was just signed to a new contract after the lockout. Tight ends coach Ben McAdoo says no one will touch the ball as much as they want – but their talents are why the Packers like them, and they’ll have to quote, “battle those demons.”
In the meantime, Jones, Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson, and rookie Randall Cobb are trying to make opponents pay if they focus too much on Finley and Jennings. And all of them have shown they can make game-changing plays. The Packers are 3-0, and starting to practice today for their Sunday home contest against Denver.
