Grand Opening of new Spring Valley health facility Monday
Monday will be a busy day in Spring Valley as the new health and rehabilitation facility will hold its official grand opening.
Monday will be a busy day in Spring Valley as the new health and rehabilitation facility will hold its official grand opening.
A ceremony will be held from 4-7 p.m., with the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m.
The new Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center is laid out and constructed with 46 single occupancy suites and two spouse suites all with private bathrooms design. The Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center is a total replacement facility for Spring Valley Health Care Center, a nursing home building originally constructed in 1962. Progressive concepts in rehabilitative therapies, long term care, and senior living services are utilized and implemented throughout the new 37,500 square foot Campus.
USDA Rural Development provided nearly $6.7 million in grants and loans through the Community Facilities Program. In addition, a private donation provided the land for the construction project.
The Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center is located at S380 Westland Drive.
