MADISON - The University of Nebraska's introduction to Big Ten Conference football is a little harsh. The Cornhuskers gave up an early lead and were eventually crushed by number-seven Wisconsin 48-17.

It was Nebraska's first game as a new member of the Big Ten. Badger quarterback Russell Wilson threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score. Montee Ball rushed for 151 yards and four touchdowns in the rout. The Cornhuskers came in to Camp Randall Stadium ranked number-eight in the country, but quarterback Taylor Martinez threw three interceptions in Nebraska's first loss. The Huskers were up 14-13 when Wisconsin took over.

The undefeated Badgers are 5-0 now, 1-0 in conference play. UW has the upcoming week off while Nebraska hosts Ohio State. Wisconsin's next game is Homecoming vs. Indiana on Oct. 15.
