Sunday State Sports Briefs: Packers on the playoff track
Wisconsin Sports-- The Green Bay Packers made the NFL post-season every time they started 3-0. They've done it again, entering play today as one of three undefeated teams in the league.
GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers made the NFL post-season every time they started 3-0. They've done it again, entering play today as one of three undefeated teams in the league.
The Denver Broncos come to Lambeau Field today. Denver is 1-2, with both losses by a field goal or less. Kyle Orton leads the offense, but the Broncos' running game has struggled. Packer quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the leading passer in the league with a quarterback rating of 120.9.
And, the Packer defense, which was torched for nearly a thousand yards in the first two games, rebounded to hold Chicago to 291 last week.
