Prescott spikers win Amery Invitational
Prescott High school's volleyball team won Saturday's Amery Invitational, compiling a 7-1 record.
AMERY - Prescott High school's volleyball team won Saturday's Amery Invitational.
In pool play Prescott swept Chetek-Weyerhaeuser but split with Siren and lost two matches to Shell Lake. But Prescott was able to make the championship round where they swept both St. Croix Falls and Spring Valley to win the title.
Spring Valley swept Amery and split with Webster and St. Croix Falls in pool play. They topped Shell Lake in the championship round before falling to Prescott.
Valley returns to action Tuesday at home against St. Croix Central while Prescott hosts Ellsworth.
