Elmwood passes its way to playoff bid

PRAIRIE FARM - Elmwood quarterback Jaylen Case threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns, all to Logan Wolf in Elmwood's playoff-clinching 35-12 win over Prairie Farm Saturday afternoon.
Elmwood only led the Panthers 7-6 midway through the second quarter when Case threw his first TD pass of 18 yards to Logan Wolf. David Rhy added a 16-yard scoring run and the Raiders broke out to a 22-6 halftime lead during PF's Homecoming.
In the second half Case threw touchdown passes of 14 and 71 yards to Wolf, who also scored the game's first TD on a 14-yard run for four-touchdown ballgame.
Case was 13-of-18 passing while Wolf rushed for 60 yards and caught six passes for 216 yards.
Elmwood's defense had three sacks and two interceptions. Getting the INTs were Rhy and Colin Arneson. Tanner Hoyt led the team in tackles with nine while Seth Jones had six and Wolf had five, including a tackle-for-loss.
The win is EHS's fourth in league play against two losses and fourth overall, evening their record. They close the regular season Friday at home vs. Lake Holcombe.
