The Ellsworth High School volleyball team got a win on senior night Tuesday in Ellsworth with a 25-21, 25-14, 21-25, 25-7 victory over Durand.

The seeding meeting for the playoffs will take place today for the Panthers and Ellsworth, which concluded the regular season 16-12 overall and 5-2 in the Middle Border Conference, should get a top-four seed in its Division 2 regional which will allow them to host a first round match next Tuesday.

EHS had an outside shot of getting a share of the MBC title but despite their win Osceola fell to Somerset 3-1 Tuesday and Baldwin-Woodville swept New Richmond, which means the Spartans and Blackhawks will share the 2011 title. Ellsworth finishes third.
