Pryor back in line-up as Prescott pounds Amery 3-0

Despite her ankle injury Prescott High School volleyball player Mary Kate Pryor wasn't going to miss Senior Night nor the Cardinals' Homecoming match-up with Amery Tuesday.

PRESCOTT - Despite her ankle injury Prescott High School volleyball player Mary Kate Pryor wasn't going to miss Senior Night nor the Cardinals' Homecoming match-up with Amery Tuesday.

Despite being at "60 percent" and not moving as well as she would at full strength nor playing as much, she managed to get through the match played her part in Prescott's 3-0 whipping at Amery. She had not played in several weeks.

Prescott showed no effects from playing in a weekend tournament 72 hours before or Homecoming distractions as they got off to great starts in both games 1 and 2 (leading 12-0 in Game 2 at one point) and won both 25-12 and 25-15. Amery actually led and kept the score c lose early in Game 3 before Prescott pulled away and won 25-15.

PHS concludes its regular season 26-25 overall and 4-3 in the Middle Border Conference. The Cards snagged a No. 2 seed in its regional and will potentially host two home games starting with next Tuesday's against Boyceville.
